PayPal Customer Shipping, Delivery, and Returns Policies


SHIPPING AND DELIVERY POLICY
1. We make every effort to ship all items in stock within 48 hours after your payment has cleared through PayPal.
2. Payment by PayPal directly (not by e-Check) is the fastest, and your PayPal confirmation is your receipt. If you need a receipt for your records, please print out your PayPal receipt. No additional receipt will be sent, although you will receive a packing slip from us with your order.
3. If you need to contact us about your order, please sure to include the information regarding your cleared PayPal payment (date it cleared, not when it was sent). We will also need your PayPal receipt number to help us research your inquiry.
4. Shipping Delays, Customs, and Weather. We are not responsible for Post Office shipping times or weather delays, nor for delays due to overseas shipping or in Customs, when your package crosses an international border. Once a package has left our hands, we have no control over the delivery time, which is utterly dependent upon the U.S. or International postal or shipping services.

RETURNS POLICY 

1. You may return an UNDAMAGED item that you do not wish to keep within 48 hours of receipt. Please notify us in writing immediately upon receipt if you wish to return the item, stating the reason(s).

Claims for defects, damages, or shortages must be submitted in writing (FAX, email, or snail mail) and no longer than 7 days from date of shipment.

2. WE DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS OR REFUND ON RETURNS MADE MORE THAN 48 HOURS AFTER RECEIPT.
3. You must return the item in its original condition—clean, uncirculated, and resaleable, at your own expense, before we will issue a refund. Any refund is based on the item cost only and does not include any shipping costs, as the customer has decided that he/she does not want the book, and we shipped it in good faith. If the book has been used, folded, open, or damaged, we will not issue any refund.
4. A re-stocking charge of $5.00 per item (or 50% of the purchase price if the item cost less than $5.00) and will be deducted from any refund. Refunds will be by PayPal if the original payment was PayPal, or by check if the original payment was by any other method. We do not refund or cover PayPal charges incurred.

We will not replace damaged item(s) if we are notified more than 48 hours after receipt of the item, or items that have been used or have sustained user damage; in other words, if a book has been folded open, we will not replace the book.

6. You must send any damaged item that you wish replaced back to us with proof of purchase or a copy of the original invoice or order. We will not replace an item unless we receive this proof of purchase. And, we will not replace a damaged item that does not reach us (i.e., that cannot be traced after you have shipped it back to us). If an item is not returned, we cannot accept a damage claim. For your protection, we recommend that you use UPS or Insured Parcel Post for shipment (so you will have a tracking number).

As stated above, you are responsible for return shipping costs, but we may, solely at our discretion and with no guarantee, apply all or part of your shipping return cost as a credit towards a future order, usually up to $10.00. In keeping with the general policy found on most online bookstores, we do not pay return shipping and we do not refund outward or return shipping costs on damaged items. HOWEVER, if the return is a result of an error on our part, we will, of course, refund any shipping costs incurred.

All returns are credited at the original total cost, less shipping and handling as stated above. Please allow 2 – 3 weeks for processing of claims and/or returns.



Please note: That while the overwhelming majority of packages shipped via Economy Mail or Standard Shipping arrive within the time specified, in rare cases, shipments can take 3 to 5 weeks to arrive, especially during the Holiday Season in December. Economy Mail shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, Puerto Rico, and APO/FPO addresses can take 3 to 8 weeks to arrive.
